Welcome to the Nipaluna/Hobart Waterhole.

Waterhole is an online calendar based in Greater Hobart and surrounding areas.

Focusing on DIY culture, mainly for music gigs/events but we would love to see activism, queer events, art openings and workshops involed too.

From punk, hardcore, grind, electronic, noise, country, folk, metal, alt, indie, goth, pystrance, gabba and the list goes on and that's what makes our music community so great. We thrive in diversity.

It's a poster wall in calander format!

Lets bring our lovely diverse scene closer together and have all the events in one place so we can find out whats going on.

You see something cool, link it to your phone calander so you don't forget.

This is a community driven initiative inspired by other DIY collectives across the world.

Made by the people, for the people and works if the people upload to it.

Lets stay organised and make things easier to find.

No mindless scrolling to find what you are looking for!

There is no tracking of users! No ads! No bullshit!

Everyone can access it and upload to it with no age restrictions!

If you regularly put on shows, request an account by sending an email too demoralizing.society@gmail.com
You can NOT register through the site.

Having an account lets you edit and update your own shows.

You can submit events anonymously!

Anonymous submitted shows must be approved before they are listed, and you won't be able to edit/update them later.

Feel free to add waterhole.au to your fliers, enabling people to go straight to the source.

Let's kill Facebook events and Instagram flyers and make everything openly avalible.

We do ask that you don't link social media sites on this site respectively.

We are an ANTI RASCIM, ANTI SEXISM community.

People deserve the right to feel safe, if you see an event that goes against this please let us know or if you have any questions via email above.

Waterhole was directly inspired by the https://the-counterforce.org and askapunk dot net world wide movement
