DESCRIPTION:Beloved noisy post-punks TEENS continue to build on the momentu
m they've gained\nover the last two years with the announcement of a 12 da
te East Coast tour in\nsupport of their second album Negative Energy kicki
ng it off at Altar Bar on\nSaturday 24th October\, 2026 supported by local
sweethearts Axon Breeze\, Fanny\nPack + Joel Green (One Man) Band.\n\n\n\
nTEENS is a post-punk trio based in Nipaluna/Hobart.Together\, Shawn Arnol
	d\, Alex\nDavern and Jono Tate create music that is abrasive\, dynamic\, a
nd intensely\ncaptivating. TEENS’ volatile musings on despair and alienati
on blend grit\,\nvulnerability\, intricacy and rawness\, with their decept
ively chaotic exterior\nbelying an expertly applied command of tension and
energy. \n\n\n\nAXON BREEZE set out to confound. Their debut single\, You
Snake\, was a shifting\nsidewinder that defied classification but drew on
the nocturnal lineage of its\ncreators. The multi-pronged artist JR Brenn
an\, on vocals and production\, led 90s\ngrindcore act Flycop (on the labe
l Spiral Objective) and infamous Berlin-based\nelectronic duo Theatre Of D
isco (Risky Disco / Future Classic). Sam Dowson\, on\ndrums and machines\,
has been an extreme metal drummer and producer for\nMephistopheles\, Milq
uebarth and RVNKNG. Neither are strangers to subversion by\nday either\, h
aving been a parole officer and a lawyer respectively.\n\n\n\nThe duo\, fr
om Nipaluna/Hobart\, chased You Snake with a series of shows at Dark\nMofo
in 2023 that NME listed in the top five performances of the festival. The
\nAXON BREEZE live experience pushes the boundaries of heavy music\, with
intense\nbursts of post punk and hyperpop bridged with passages of drawn-o
ut doom. Their\nunsettling soundscapes aim for the underbelly\, and stradd
le the juncture of the\ndancefloor\, the pit and performance art.\n\n\n\nF
ANNY PACK\nFanny Pack don't have a bio. They've got three members and some
punk ramblings\,\nthough. \n\n\n\nJOEL GREEN (ONE MAN) BAND\nA fixture of
the nipaluna/Hobart music scene for the best part of a decade\, at\n23\,
Joel Green is one of the youngest veterans of an arts community that you’l
l\nencounter. From cutting his teeth in Legal Noise\, the fuzz rock band h
e formed\nin high school\, to the endearing cow punk of Funeral Jeans\, an
d many other\nprojects in between\, Green is no stranger to Hobart’s venue
	s. Over the years he\nhas supported a slew of visiting artists including E
ddy Current Suppression\nRing\, C.O.F.F.I.N.\, The Mark of Cain\, DZ Death
	rays\, and many more.\n\n\n\nPoster: Jaxon Bassett @jaxonsbassett / @devil
